The Malvern Newland Corner Pent Summer house, like the Malvern Martley, is designed to fit into the corner of the garden but features a lower line roof which gives it less impact for neighbouring properties. It also means it is rarely subject to planning permission and is less expensive!
As standard, this summer house is supplied with ¾ length opening and fixed windows, a preservative treatment throughout, 4mm toughened safety glass, a solid timber felted roof and 3-lever mortice lockable double doors. You can truly make this building your own and as you choose the cladding, roof, windows and doors styles. These superb optional extras allow you to tailor your building to suit your style.

Choice of Timber Cladding
Choose between redwood, pressure treated, cedar, heavy duty redwood or heavy duty pressure treated. The redwood cladding (both standard and heavy-duty), are pre-treated with a water based preservative inside and out before it leaves the factory. The pressure treated cladding (both standard and heavy-duty), has a long-lasting treatment forced deep inside the timber giving the timber an attractive green hue which compliments gardens well. The Western Red Cedar is a beautiful and versatile timber which produces its own natural oils and preservatives making it a durable and rot-resistant species of timber, perfect for a garden summer house.
All Malvern Traditional range buildings are supplied as standard with a green, red or black colour felt roof.
Under 2.5m Height
The Malvern Newland Corner is designed with a ridge height of under 2.5m so that planning permission is only needed in special circumstances.
Black Antique Ironmongery
The Malvern Newland Corner includes black antique japanded ironmongery as standard.
Lockable Double Doors
The Malvern Newland Corner includes 3-lever mortice lockable double doors for your safety and security.

The Malvern Newland Corner Pent is an attractive building designed to fit in those awkward garden corners and offer additional living space. Shown here in its standard specification with 3/4 length windows and double doors in the 12mm deal cladding. Toughened safety glass is included as standard.
Designed with a roof height of under 2.5m means that planning permission is only required in extraordinary circumstances.
The Malvern Newland Corner Pent is shown at nearly all of our display centres throughout the UK as it's one of our most popular buildings. It's neatly engineered to fit into the corner of most gardens and is less than 2.5m in height meaning there's generally no need for planning permission. It is roomy and light, particularly if you choose the glass to ground option illustrated in this picture.
This Malvern Newland Corner Pent has the basic plain windows but is constructed with cedar cladding. Please read the notes on cedar cladding below which explain why it is such a good choice for summerhouses.

The Georgian style windows and doors are fitted with antique style handles and hinges.
This building is constructed in redwood, factory treated with a quality preservative, and delivered almost anywhere in mainland Britain.

Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the building are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives our pressure treated summerhouses their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.
Good looks and an extended lifetime are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated construction.
Cedar is well known for its durability, good looks and quality. With its own natural oils, it lasts for many , many years without rotting although we would advise you to treat it with a good quality wood preserver every couple of years to help maintain its good looks.
Our 'cedar' summerhouses contain cedar doors, windows and external cladding and trims. They have preservative treated redwood framing, floors and verandahs ( where fitted ).

As with all of our garden buildings we like to provide our customers with a suitable delivery time. We always give good notice of our arrival date, allowing you to be sure it is the right time for you. We always appreciate any helpful information regarding access to your pre-prepared base area and any details you may need to share with us about reaching you - so that the delivery process can run as smoothly as possible.
When buying a Malvern Traditional Summerhouses, you can choose to purchase the optional installation. If you are thinking about having your summerhouse installed by our skilled team of fitters, please be aware that you will need to have a good, strong, level base - pre-prepared prior to your delivery date. We would normally recommend a base constructed from either slabs, concrete or heavy duty decking. We will always confirm these details with you when you order and if required, we will provide you with base plans for you building - so that no detail is left out! These measures ensure that your summerhouse will be both delivered and installed without any inconvenience.
