Why Choose a Malvern Martley Summer House?
Choice of Timber Cladding Choose between redwood, pressure treated, cedar, heavy duty redwood or heavy duty pressure treated. The redwood cladding (both standard and heavy-duty), are pre-treated with a water based preservative inside and out before it leaves the factory. The pressure treated cladding (both standard and heavy-duty), has a long-lasting treatment forced deep inside the timber giving the timber an attractive green hue which compliments gardens well. The Western Red Cedar is a beautiful and versatile timber which produces its own natural oils and preservatives making it a durable and rot-resistant species of timber, perfect for a garden summer house.

Deal cladding
Our standard cladding on this summer house is 12mm deal. This is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory.
This building is also available with 'Pressure treated' or Cedar cladding.
Pressure treated construction
Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the building are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives our pressure treated summerhouses their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.
Good looks and an extended lifetime are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated construction.
Cedar Cladding
Cedar is well known for its durability, good looks and quality. With its own natural oils, it lasts for many , many years without rotting although we would advise you to treat it with a good quality wood preserver every couple of years to help maintain its good looks.
Our 'cedar' summerhouses contain cedar doors, windows and external cladding and trims. They have preservative treated redwood framing, floors and verandahs ( where fitted ).
Optional Brass Pack Upgrade
Optional brass door handles, hooks, bolts and window casement stays can be added to your Summerhouse for good looks and durability.
The 3 lever lock is supplied with 2 keys.
Summerhouse window styles
There are 5 window styles available with our summerhouse range.
From L to R these are Plain, Square Lead, Diamond Lead, Georgian, and Full Length Glass.
The exact layout, numbers of windows, and positioning is discussed on the pages relating to each product but for a general overview this is a useful comparison.
Summerhouse roof finishes
Apart from being very attractive, you can choose an optional slatted roof in pressure treated timber or in cedar to extend the life of your building.
The standard green felt is also shown along with the no-cost option of red felt.
Rear privacy vent windows
These optional opening rear windows create additional ventilation and provide extra daylight.
