The Malvern Bewdley Corner shed is constructed from high quality materials, but with your budget in mind.
The Bewdley Corner shed has been designed to allow you to make the most efficient use of space within your garden. Available in two sizes, this attractive shed is available in a choice of either 12mm Deal shiplap that has been pre-treated with high quality wood preserver, inside and out or 12mm pressure treated deal as a maintenance free alternative. Each Bewdley Corner shed comes with two fixed windows either side of a single door. For added safety you can also add optional toughened safety glass. The Bewdley Corner sheds also have a low roof line, meaning it will be less visible to neighbouring properties.
The floor and roof are made from 12mm tongue and groove deal timber - we do not use chipboard or pressed fibre board - meaning that your shed really is designed to last. Your roof will be finished with a high grade mineral felt that is available in either red, green or black to suit your garden.
At GBC, we are continuously striving to improve our products, methods and materials, which means we may change the specification of a product or range from time to time, but we will not make any significant changes without your agreement
Please take a look at our photo gallery which will show you various sizes of this building along with pictures of its construction and optional items.

Bewdley Corner
This Bewdley Corner shed is constructed in 12mm Deal (pine) cladding, on of two timber cladding choices, the other being 12mm pressure treated deal.
Two fixed windows either side of the door are standard and you can choose which side you prefer the door hinged on, in this case on the left.
This customer has added a rustic metal clock feature and some horseshoes to the outside of the shed, which gives this building a nice touch of character, almost like it's a blacksmith's hut!
Bewdley Corner Shed 7ft x 7ft
This Corner Shed is ideally suited to small gardens where space is at a premium.
Try to site it around 18 inches from the fence if possible in order to get around it to maintain the timber (and the fence or hedge) periodically.
There's a bigger, 8ft x 8ft, version too.
Each Bewdley shed can be professionally installed by Malvern's own teams of skilled fitters on the same day as delivery is made (if the installation option is chosen)
* As of 2017, all Bewdley sheds are fitted with a Rimlock and key - replacing the hasp and staple as pictured.
Bewdley Corner Shed 7ft x 7ft
The Bewdley Corner Shed pictured here is sturdily constructed as standard in preservative treated deal (pine) . Three hinges and a fold over hasp are fitted to the door. The door can be hinged on either side (shown here LH hinged).
The floor and roof are constructed with real timber too... not chipboard or compressed fibre board . This is important as it is stronger and resistant to damp conditions. Externally the roof is felted with a good quality mineralised roof felt.
* As of 2017, all Bewdley sheds are fitted with a Rimlock and key - replacing the hasp and staple as pictured.
Bewdley Apex pressure treated 6ft x 4ft
The Bewdley is also available in Apex or Pent style. The building illustrated is the pressure treated version of the Apex which has that green/yellow hue that is preferred by many householders.

Deal ( Pine ) cladding for Bewdley sheds
Bewdley sheds are constructed with quality, planed deal ( pine ). This is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory. This ensures that the treatment reaches into the end grain and between the tongued and grooved cladding.
You can see from the picture the quality of the external cladding.
We also supply the Bewdley in pressure treated pine.
Pressure treated construction for Bewdley sheds
Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the building are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives the pressure treated Bewdley sheds their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.
Good looks and an extended lifetime are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated construction.
Turn pegs for Bewdley sheds
Turn pegs as photographed are fitted at the top and bottom of the door on each Bewdley shed.
These are handy for keeping the door shut briefly when you are going in and out but also help prevent the door from twisting if it is left shut for long periods of time without use.
Pressure treated floor bearers
If you are a novice when it comes to sheds then this picture is for you !
Most shed floors are constructed with floor joists which are deal (pine). These can be seen under the floor running down the length of this shed. If they are set directly onto your base they will deteriorate after a few years as water penetrates into the timber. By choosing a set of pressure treated floor bearers ( the timber running side to side in this picture ) you will extend the life of your shed significantly as these bearers will last a lifetime as the preservative is forced into the timber under pressure. This is the same process used for fenceposts and suchlike. Beneath the bearers you will see pressed grey slabs ... probably the best way of constructing a base for your building.
Deal ( Pine ) framing for Bewdley sheds
Bewdley sheds are constructed with quality, planed deal ( pine ). The framework has rounded edges to prevent splinters. The whole building is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory. This ensures that the treatment reaches into the end grain and between the tongued and grooved cladding. You can see from the picture the quality of the internal framing, this is at the point where it meets the roof which you can see is also constructed from tongued and grooved timber.
Rim lock internal
The Bewdley is supplied with a secure rimlock and key, shown here on a pressure treated Bewdley.
Door knob and escutcheon
The Bewdley is supplied with a black japanned door knob and escutcheon plate.
Black felt
New for 2017, Black has been added to Red and Green to allow you to choose the mineralised roof felt colour that best fits your location.
Opening window
The Bewdley is supplied with one fixed window for lengths up to and including 8ft. 10ft models and above have 2 windows.
The picture shows the optional opening window which replaces the fixed pane standard window.
You can, if you prefer, have no windows at all !
Shed shelves
We offer a range of different length shelves, 9" wide, for all of our Malvern sheds.

We take pride in making sure that your building will arrive in perfect condition - that is why we use our own team of drivers and fitters. As with all of our garden buildings, we like to provide our customers with a suitable delivery time. We always give good notice of our arrival date allowing you to be sure it is the right time for you. We always appreciate any helpful information regarding access to your pre-prepared base area, plus any details you may need to share with us about reaching you - so that the delivery process can run as smoothly as possible.
Our Malvern Traditional Sheds all come with optional installation. If you are thinking about having your garden shed installed by our skilled team of fitters, please be aware that you will need to have a good, strong, level base, pre-prepared prior to your delivery date. We would normally recommend a base constructed from either slabs, concrete or heavy duty decking. We will always confirm these details with you at point of order and we will provide you with base plans if needed. These measures ensure that no detail is left out - ensuring that your garden shed will be both delivered and installed without any inconvenience.
Our delivery times can vary from season to season, but typically, you should expect to receive your building around 3-4 weeks from when you order. All of our buildings are made to order, so during the busy spring to summer seasons, this may increase to 6-10 weeks dependant on the building that you have purchased. Please feel free to contact us on 0800 999 0123 to check our current delivery times.
