Within the last 15 years, log cabins have become increasingly popular for many home owners. There’s a romanticism about a log cabin in your garden. Maybe it gives us the imagery of a Swiss chalet or of the Scandinavian forests, in any case, a log cabin brings a touch of the natural world to your garden.
It’s not just the look and appearance of the 44mm thick wall logs that makes these buildings appealing. The insulating properties of a log cabin, make them a great alternative to one of our garden buildings & offices. Indeed, some of our smaller log cabins could even be used as garden playhouses.
Some of our log cabins have the option of a partition wall, you can combine this with an additional external wall and divide your log cabin into a social space and a devoted garden shed section.
The timber sourced for our range of log cabins is from the forests of Northern Scandinavia, located close to the Arctic Circle. The harsh climate results in a timber that is naturally very densely grained and gives great long term stability, essential for log cabins. The 44mm thick wall logs gives the cabin a great insulating wall. All glass is double glazed and with optional floor and roof insulation, you can be sure to these buildings all year round.
