Offer ends 31st October 2019
Influenced by the Malvern Studio Apex, the Sienna Apex is a modern, light and spacious garden building, a beautiful alternative to the more traditionally designed garden room. With glass to ground double glazed windows either side of the double glazed double doors, the Sienna Apex maximizes the use of available light, making it the perfect garden room for relaxing with family and friends or working on hobbies and crafts or as a stunning pool house or gym.
Our great range of optional extras gives you the ability to tailor your Sienna Apex to your own style. By adding either the patterned MDF or tongue and groove lining and insulation, your Sienna can be used all year round. You can also choose to have your building painted with one of the attractive colour paint finishes. These not only blend well in any garden but also make your building virtually maintenance-free. You can 'top' your building with the popular cedar slatted or cedar shingle roof - a beautiful finishing touch to your Sienna Apex.
The Sienna, part of the Garden Living range also offers a choice of cladding profile. Choose from traditional shiplap, as featured prominently in the Malvern Studio range, or square cladding - a contemporary and stylish cladding profile.
At GBC, we are continuously striving to improve our products, methods and materials, which means we may change the specification of a product or range from time to time, but we will not make any significant changes without your agreement
Choice of Timber Cladding
Choose between 12mm redwood, 12mm pressure treated redwood, premium cedar, 19mm redwood or 19mm pressure treated redwood. The 12mm and 19mm redwood are pre-treated with a water based preservative inside and out before it leaves the factory. The 12mm and 19mm pressure treated redwood has a long-lasting treatment forced deep inside the timber giving the timber an attractive green hue which compliments gardens well. The Western Red Cedar is a beautiful and versatile timber which produces its own natural oils and preservatives making it a durable and rot-resistant species of timber, perfect for a garden summer house.
Double Glazed Windows and Doors
As standard, the Sienna includes full-length, double glazed windows and doors across the width of your building with a single large, full length window either end of the building. This maximises light into your building - perfect for an art studio!
Under 2.5m Height
Just like the Malvern Studio range, the Sienna is designed with a ridge height of under 2.5m so that planning permission is only needed in special circumstances.
All Sienna and Acacia range buildings are supplied with chrome window and door furniture, bringing a high-quality finish to your summer house.
Safety and Security
A five-lever mortice lock is included as standard to make sure your building is safe and secure.
12-Month Workmanship Guarantee
All buildings are fully guaranteed to be free from defects and faulty installation for a period of 12 months.
All our garden rooms include a guarantee against rot and decay:
10-Year guarantee for Cedar
3-Year guarantee for Pressure Treated
2-Year guarantee for Redwood.
|Building Width||Ridge Height||Eaves Height||Double Doors|

Lining and Insulation
Make your office work all year round – choose from two distinctive styles of lining and insulation.
The Sienna has the option of a painted finish and you can choose from 13 countryside colours! We can also paint the windows and doors in an alternative colour to really make the building your own.
Choice of Roof Finishes
Complement your building with bitumen felt tile, a slatted timber roof or even cedar shingle tiles!
Heavy Duty Floor Boards and Laminate Flooring
For additional strength and durability, upgrade to 19mm timber floor boards. Laminate flooring is also available in a choice of styles and colours.
Partition/Shed Conversion/Open Sided Area
Make the most of your garden building with a range of layout options. Enjoy a garden office, storage shed and summer house in just one building.
Choose Your Colours
Customise your building with a range of beautiful countryside colours:
Here is a 10 x 10 Malvern Sienna Apex, attractively painted in Willow Green, one of a choice of Countryside colours available as an option.
It's lined and insulated for all year round use. This can be done with an attractive painted MDF board as pictured or with pine tongued and grooved boarding.
The optional laminate floor has also been fitted.
This 10ft wide x 8ft deep Sienna Apex is finished externally with our 'Graphite' colour option. The Hickory Berkeley laminate floor choice matches really well and helps make this a fantastic space either as an office, a hobby room, or simply just somewhere to enjoy the garden from in comfort !
This Sienna Apex is constructed in cedar cladding with a medium oak stain finish applied to the outside of the timber. Internally it has an optional MDF lining, laminate floor and insulation. The roof is finished with bitumen felt tiles.
Each Sienna Apex is built to meet our customers' requirements so external colour, internal lining and flooring choices are always on the agenda.
The Sienna Apex is designed with a ridge height of under 2.5 metres so that planning permission is only needed in special circumstances.
This 10ft (wide) x 8ft Malvern Sienna Apex is in plain western red cedar cladding and includes red bitumen felt tiles, a deluxe laminate floor in our popular 'Hickory' style, and tongue and groove lining and insulation.
These options work perfectly together to create a wonderful natural garden room - perfect for a garden office, summerhouse or recreation room.
The pavilion version of the Sienna has the roof slope running in the opposite direction to the Apex version. There's a separate page for the Sienna Pavilion which describes the sizes available, its features and options in more detail.
The Sienna Pavilion is available in a huge range of different sizes but the 12ft x 8ft model tends to be the most popular as there's plenty of room for desk, chairs, filing cabinet, computers, and the most important item ... the teapot
In this picture the Sienna Pavilion includes an optional external paint finish, cedar shingle roof covering, internal painted MDF lining and insulation, and laminate floor.
Double glazed, toughened safety glass is a standard feature with these buildings.
The optional tongued and grooved pine lining inside the Sienna Apex is carefully fitted to provide a pleasant working environment. Because the walls and roof are insulated when the building is lined, the Sienna Apex will become suitable for all year round use.
We recommend heating the Sienna Apex with electric thermostatically controlled convector heaters. You can set these to maintain a minimum temperature when you aren't using the building so that paper and equipment remain at the appropriate temperature.
The internal T&G lining is shown here on the Acacia which has half length windows rather than the full length ones fitted to the Sienna.
Choose the optional MDF panels, sprayed with a honeydew paint finish, and you choose a hardwearing and attractive finish for the inside of your Acacia or Sienna Garden Office. Pictured here on the Acacia (which has half length windows rather than the full length windows featured on Sienna models). The MDF lining helps create a light and airy feel to this working environment.
When you choose either the MDF lining, or the T&G lining pictured elsewhere in this gallery, the building is insulated too with a uFoil insulation in the walls and roof.
Our double glazed Acacia and Sienna ranges of Garden Offices, whether Apex, Pent or Pavilion style, can all be fitted with an optional integral shed conversion.
In this picture of a 14ft x 8ft Acacia Pavilion the shed section (4ft wide in this case) is fitted within the LH side. Pent versions would also have the shed conversion to one side or the other whereas Apex versions would have a rear compartment as a shed section if specified.
Please note that the shed section is not lined or double glazed and this one is fitted with a joinery made single glazed shed window and a solid, framed and braced shed door.
In this picture of a 14ft x 8ft Acacia Pavilion other options are the paint finish, internal MDF lining, bitumen felt roof tiles, and laminate floor.
Please note that the amount of the building converted to shed use is up to you but is normally 4ft, 6ft or 8ft depending on the overall length of the building. The shed area is not an extension added to your building, it is part of the original dimensions.
Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the building are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives our pressure treated buildings their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.
Good looks and an extended lifetime are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated cladding.
Cedar is well known for its durability, good looks and quality. With its own natural oils, it lasts for many , many years without rotting although we would advise you to treat it with a good quality wood preserver every couple of years to help maintain its good looks.
Our cedar Garden Offices contain cedar doors, windows and external cladding and trims.
This picture shows the cedar slatted overlap roof finish available for the Sienna Apex.
Laid over an inner felted roof this gives double protection to the building and is an attractive addition which will weather over the years to a silver grey colour.
Shown here on our Stanford shed range, the principle is exactly the same for the Sienna.
The Sienna roof can have pressure treated slats for an extra touch of style at an additional cost. These are laid over a felted inner roof which ensures that it is double weatherproofed!
Cedar slatted roofs are available too. Other options include felt tiles or cedar shingles.
Shown here on our Stanford shed range, the principle is exactly the same on the Sienna range.
