Oregon Pavilion 3.0m x 2.4m ( 10ft x 8ft Nominal )

The Oregon is a multi-functional garden office with a full range of options which effectively allow you to design your own building.

For a start it's double glazed so that makes it suitable for all year round use if you also choose the internal mdf lining and insulation option.

The building pictured has painted cedar external cladding ( Deal with a light oak stain is the other choice ). We have plenty of colours to choose from !  This building also features a cedar shingle roof, laminate floor, and internal mdf lining.

Installation is available using our manufacturer's bespoke fitting teams.

Cedar cladding

The California and Oregon Garden Offices are available with a choice of external claddings : either Deal ( pine ) finished with a light oak preservative stain, or cedar.

Pictured here is the western red cedar, widely acknowledged to be the best choice due to cedar's inherent longevity. With its own natural oils it will outlast any other timber even without being looked after regularly. As you would expect, we still advise you to give it a coat of preservative periodically to keep it looking good and in top condition.

Deal cladding with light oak preservative stain

The California and Oregon Garden Offices are available with a choice of external claddings : either Deal ( pine ) finished with a light oak preservative, or cedar.

Pictured here is the Deal ( pine ) cladding which is finished with an attractive light oak stain.  As you would expect, we still advise you to re-treat it periodically to keep it looking good and in top condition.

Painted external cladding

It's a popular choice to bring a little colour into the garden and we are able to offer a range of countryside colours in which your building can be pre-painted.

Shown here on the cedar cladding, the paint finish is hard wearing and applied evenly by spray. When choosing a paint finish we generally advise you to choose the cedar cladding since knots in the Deal cladding will 'shadow' through the paint in time. Cedar tends not to have knots in so does not exhibit this behaviour.

Double glazing

Whether you choose the California with its full length glazing or the Oregon as pictured with its half-length windows, you will be choosing a building that has toughened safety glass as standard. This type of glass shatters to small fragments if you break it... which isn't the easiest thing to do as its strength lies in the face of the glass rather than the ends  (which are not exposed ).

All of the units are double glazed which, if you choose the internal mdf lining and insulation, makes the building perfect for all-year-round use with a minimum of heating.

Optional bitumen felt roof shingles

Three colour options of these hard-wearing felt shingles are available if you wish to replace the standard 38kg green mineralised roofing felt for something a little more decorative.

There is an underlay installed first.

Optional cedar roof shingles

Cedar shingles are extremely weather resistant due to their own natural oils and will gradually 'silver' down to blend into the garden environment. They are counter-battened and laid over breather membrane and hardwood plyboard ( replacing the normal 22mm tongue and groove roof board structure ).

Good looks, long life, and natural weathering all make cedar shingles a fabulous choice.

Optional MDF lining and insulation, and laminate floor

For a truly all-year-round building you will need to line and insulate your new garden office. Our bead-and-butt mdf lining is painted in 'cotton' colour and hides the Alreflex 2L2FR insulation which is stapled to the internal face of the framing. Skirting boards and architraves are included.

We also have a range of attractive laminate floors as an option.

Hinges

3 strong butt hinges take the weight of each door. Attractively finished in brushed steel, they are recessed into the door frame.

Door handles and lock

Each of our Fort Premium offices has a brushed steel handle set together with a secure 3 lever lock as pictured.

Side opening vents

There is one of these top opening vents ( 900mm wide ) at each end of the Oregon or California garden office.

They are fitted with a locking handle.

Toughened safety glass

All of our Fort Premium offices have toughened safety glass to EN 12150 Class 1.

This will shatter into small pieces ( like the old style car windscreen glass ) if it gets broken although that isn't an easy thing to do as it is so many times stronger than regular float glass. As it is double glazed it is highly unlikely that any impact will break both panes.

NB This picture also shows the friction hinges on the end windows and the insulating foam fill between the window frame and the building's external cladding.

Roof truss

All of our Fort Premium Apex and Pavilion offices have these sturdy double roof trusses as standard.

Pictured here with the optional 'cotton' coloured internal mdf lining.
