Covid-19 Frequently Asked Questions

Like all other retail businesses, we understand the current situation with Covid-19 is causing concern and anxiety amongst the population.

Our key focus is the welfare and health of all our customers and staff. We will be closely following government guidance and act accordingly based on advice from the NHS, Public Health England and Public Health Scotland.

So that you can understand how we are operating during these times, we have created some FAQ’s below to help answer any questions you may have. These are unprecedented times and we will be constantly reviewing and updating our FAQ’s and guidance on a regular basis.

All Ex-Display garden buildings Orders can be placed as normal and deliveries will be booked ASAP.

 


Are any GBC display centres closed as a result of the situation?

As of 1st June, all our display centres have re-opened to the public. We will ensure all government advice is followed to make sure our display centres are 'covid safe' and we will be constantly reviewing our procedures, in-line with guidance from Public Health England and Public Health Scotland

Our online operations will continue to operate as normal.


Can I still place an order?

You can still place an order in-store and online for any products, or by calling us on 0800 999 0123.


Is someone available to talk to about my existing order?

Yes. From 1st June, all our display centres are available in-store or over the phone to talk about your existing order with that display centre. Alternatively, you can call our freephone number 0800 999 0123 for all other enquirires.


What happens to my order if I am required to self-isolate or test positive for Covid-19?

If any customer wishes for their delivery (and in some cases installation) to take place without them present due to self-isolation, please inform your GBC display centre or the relevant manufacturer prior to your delivery. We will update your paperwork and ensure our delivery and installation teams are aware of this.
