Malvern Cottage Range Stretton Summerhouse
11 more images availableThe Stretton Summerhouse is an attractive pent roof styled summerhouse, ideal to fit into spaces where the external roof height is a consideration. The Stretton is available in six sizes (see below for details of sizes available).
The external walls, windows and doors are all made from premium clear grade western red cedar. The warm and stable cedar contains its own oils and preservatives making it a naturally durable and rot resistant species of timber, perfect for a garden room.
The Stretton has double locking doors to the front with a fixed window either side of the double doors (10ft and wider leaded models have two fixed windows either side of the doors). There are two opening windows in each side of the Stretton (extra windows can be added if required). Windows and doors can be either Georgian or a leaded style. All window and door furniture is high quality solid brass. The Stretton roof is tiled with Bitumen roof tiles and comes with a redwood pine tongue and grooved floor as standard.
The exterior is finished with three coats of a breathable protective paint system, in a choice of attractive colours. Internally the Stretton is lined with patterned medium density fibreboard which recieves two coats of your chosen decorative colour finish.

Single Glazed Window Styles
These are the three window options available : Diamond Lead, Square Lead or Georgian style. Single glazed windows have arched tops as photographed.
Double Glazed Georgian windows
Double glazing and insulation are popular options with all models in the Cottage Range. Please note that the double glazed windows pictured have square tops unlike the arched top single glazed Georgian windows.
Double Glazed Leaded windows
These are the two options available for leaded windows. The window tops are square in shape unlike the arch topped single glazed windows. Georgian double glazed windows are also available which are square topped too.
8ft x 6ft Stretton Summerhouse
This is the smallest Stretton in the range. At 8ft x 6ft it is still spacious enough for two comfy chairs and a table.
Add double glazing and all year round use as a hobby room or art studio is a strong possibility ! This building has Georgian style single glazed windows and is finished with 'Wild Grape' externally, just one of twelve colour choices available. The windows and doors are painted in honeydew.
10ft x 8ft Stretton Summerhouse
The windows, doors and exterior of this superb Stretton Summerhouse from the Malvern Collection are painted in 'Ice Blue'.
Single glazed square leaded windows and doors and one of our range of attractive laminate tiled floors set this building off to great effect.
Each Stretton Summerhouse comes with a 10 year timber guarantee.
10ft x 8ft Stretton Summerhouse
Moss Green external paint finish on the cedarwood cladding and honeydew finish on the cedar doors and windows make this a striking example of the Stretton Summerhouse from the Malvern Cottage Range.
This building is single glazed with toughened safety glass and has our 'Georgian' style windows and doors.
10ft x 8ft Stretton Summerhouse
This Stretton Summerhouse from the Malvern Cottage Range is also finished in Moss Green but has 'Cornsilk' finish windows and doors. These paint colours are from a range of twelve specially formulated outdoor paints used on our Cottage buildings.
All buildings in the Cottage Range can be fitted with a choice of laminate tiled floors. Although pictured single glazed, this building could also be supplied with double glazing.
10ft x 10ft Stretton Summerhouse
This is the 10ft x 10ft Stretton Summerhouse from the Malvern Cottage Range. Shown here shortly after being installed, this building has single glazed diamond leaded windows and doors. 'Sea Breeze' finish is used here on all external components while the internal lining is completed with 'Honeydew' paint finish. All buildings in the Cottage Range can be fitted with a choice of laminate tiled floors. Although pictured single glazed, this building could also be supplied with double glazing.
12ft x 10ft Stretton Summerhouse
This 12ft x 10ft Stretton is the biggest of the Stretton Summerhouses from the Malvern Cottage Range.
The double glazed square leaded windows fitted in this model are straight topped ... contrast them with the 10ft x 10ft model, also pictured, which has the arch topped single glazed windows.
Paint finish in this picture is Wild Grape, doors and windows are Honeydew.
Deluxe Laminate Floors
Pictured here is one of the four new deluxe laminate floors available in 2009 for the Cottage Range of summerhouses.
We already have a comprehensive range of tiled laminate floor options so the new floors are an attractive and welcome addition.
Chrome fittings pack
New for 2010 : Chrome handles, casement stays, hinges, hooks and eyes, and bolts.
If you prefer, you can choose a chrome fittings pack with any of our Cottage Range buildings rather than the brass fittings shown in most of these pictures.

Installation
Installation is by Malvern's own team of skilled fitters who are specialists in the Cottage Range. Delivery times vary between 4 and 8 weeks and you will be given plenty of notice of the date scheduled for installation.
