Malvern Mamble Summerhouse

Mamble 8ft x 6ft

This is the smallest model in the Mamble range at 8ft x 6ft but there's still room for two comfy chairs and a side table ! 

This picture shows the Mamble in deal ( pine ) with optional Georgian windows and doors. The Georgian windows are full length opening giving plenty of ventilation at low level.

Each Mamble is finished with a wash of preservative before leaving the factory to get it off to a great start in life. After a couple of years you will probably wish to give it an additional coat of a good spirit-based preservative to keep it lookin good as new !

Mamble 8ft x 6ft

This is a display building at our Ferndown branch and shows the standard leaded window style. The lead can be applied in a square or diamond ( as shown ) pattern.

One of the top lights at each end opens to provide ventilation.

Mamble 10ft x 8ft

This 10ft x 8ft Mamble is top of the range with its Cedar external cladding, Georgian window and door style, toughened safety glass and pressure treated floor bearers.

The cedarwood is attractive, long lasting and easy to maintain.

Each Mamble is finished with a wash of preservative before leaving the factory to get it off to a great start in life.

Mamble 10ft x 8ft

This Mamble is constructed in deal ( pine ) and has the optional Georgian window and door style.

Although these buildings are available DIY the vast majority of our buildings are fitted by the manufacturer's bespoke fitting teams.

Mamble Detail

This picture illustrates some of the detail you'll find on the Georgian window version of the Mamble .  The casement stays are clearly visible which peg open the windows at low level. Hooks and eyes are provided to stop the door from blowing about on windy days. Antique style black japanned door hinges are fitted on both doors.

Look closely and you will see the high standard of the joinery featured in the windows.

Mamble 10ft x 8ft

Pictured here with diamond leaded windows this Mamble is 10ft x 8ft in size.

It is essential to provide a firm level base for all of our timber buildings and the Mamble is no exception ! Our general advice is to use slabs, laid on hardcore / sand / cement. This Mamble is sitting on a pressure treated decking area.

Roof Overhang

It may not be obvious in some of the pictures here, but the Mamble roof overhangs the front doors by about 20 inches, giving protection from the rain on those showery days when the Mamble makes a great refuge !

Attractively styled, the overhang also protects the floor by reducing the amount of rain that gets into the building if you've forgotten to shut the doors !

Deal ( Pine ) cladding for the Mamble

Our standard cladding on The Mamble is 12mm deal ( pine ).  This is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory.

The Mamble is also available with 'Logroll' or Cedarwood cladding.

Logroll cladding

Logroll is one of three cladding options for this summerhouse. The boards have an attractive rounded shape and are thicker ( 15mm ) at the heart than the standard 12mm deal cladding.

Cedar Cladding

Cedar is well known for its durability, good looks and quality. With its own natural oils, it lasts for many , many years without rotting although we would advise you to treat it with a good quality spirit based wood preserver every couple of years to help maintain its good looks.

Our 'cedar' summerhouses contain cedar doors, windows and external cladding and trims. They have preservative treated Deal ( pine ) framing, floors and verandahs ( where fitted ).
