Malvern Witley Shed

Witley 10ft x 8ft

Pictured here at product launch day in October 2008 :  Our heavy duty shed range didn't incorporate a model with side double doors and to do this we've raised the eaves height so that there is a full 6ft height clearance as you enter the Witley.

Sizes are from 8ft x 6ft up to 20ft x 12ft. In other words, we'll have a size for you! Constructed in treated pine as pictured, you could also specify pressure treated or cedar cladding instead. This is a roomy, exceptionally well built, and functional building so please contact us for further details.

Witley 10ft x 8ft

The Witley pictured here is 10ft x 8ft and constructed in deal ( pine ) timber. The panels are pre-treated at the factory with a wash of quality wood preserver which penetrates between the boards and into the end grain thus ensuring an excellent start to life for these sturdily constructed buildings.

Whilst we do occassionally sell these buildings for DIY installation, the vast majority of our customers opt for the manufacturers' own fitters to undertake the installation of their shed.

Witley 8ft x 6ft

This is the smallest of the Witley range, constructed here with deal ( pine ) cladding. One window is set in the front next to the doors which can be offset right or left . ( Pictured here offset left ).

Pressure treated floor bearers are clearly visible in this picture ... we recommend the use of these to keep the floor joists off the ground which considerably extends the life of your new Witley.

Witley 10ft x 6ft

This 10ft x 6ft Witley is constructed throughout with pressure treated timber. The pressure treatment extends the life of the building considerably and also gives it its attractive green/yellow hue.

The door on the building pictured is offset to the left of the front and has the RH door as the master door. It could equally well have been fitted to the right of the front.

12mm Deal ( Pine ) cladding for Witley sheds

Our standard cladding on Heavy Duty sheds is 12mm tongued and grooved deal ( pine ). This is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory.

20mm Deal ( Pine ) cladding for Witley sheds

Our standard cladding on Witley sheds is 12mm deal ( pine ). This is treated with a wash of quality wood preserver both inside and out before it leaves the factory.

Illustrated here is the 20mm thick cladding option. Some customers prefer this as the shed walls are considerably thicker and allow some items to be mounted on the boards. In very windy locations it also makes what is already a very sturdy building heavier and less prone to damage.

Pressure treated cladding for Witley sheds

Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the building are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives the pressure treated heavy duty sheds their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.

Good looks and an extended lifetime are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated cladding.

Cedar cladding for Witley sheds

This picture illustrates the cedar cladding used on a large proportion of our Witley sheds. Cedar is known for its long life and good looks. It has its own natural oils in the timber which makes it very resistant to rot. Despite this we still pre-treat your Witley shed with a wash of quality wood preserver before it leaves the factory thus ensuring it gets off to a great start in life !
