Robinsons Regal 12'7 x 14'9 in Green

This is a seriously fantastic greenhouse. Massive and strong, it offers huge potential for amateur and professional growers alike. This building is kitted out with five manual louvre vents, ridge cresting, and staging and shelving at the rear.

The green powder coating is there for a lifetime. White powder coat paint finish can also be supplied or plain mill finish aluminium.

Robinsons Partition

By adding a partitioned area to your greenhouse you can create two separate temperature controlled areas. The bigger the greenhouse the more important this can be since you can keep part of the greenhouse warm enough to germinate seedlings and overwinter tender plants without having the cost of heating the whole greenhouse. The partition can be placed at any of the 2ft modules and can be fitted with a single or double door depending on your requirements.

Notice also the sturdy A frame joining system used on longer length Robinsons Greenhouses.

The picture shows the 8ft wide Robinsons Royale partition but the principle is exactly the same for the 10ft wide Rosette and the 12ft wide Regal.

Toughened Safety Glass

All Robinsons Greenhouses are fitted with 4mm toughened safety glass which complies with BS6206 Class A. This is 4 times stronger than standard glass of the same thickness.

In the unlikely event of breakage, it shatters into small pieces, much as car windscreens used to, thus minimising any risks.

The glass is secured in place with Robinsons' unique bar capping system.

Bar Capping and eaves drainage

This picture illustrates the detail of the Robinsons glazing system which is strong, thermally efficient and neat. Each pane of glass is held in place by full length 'bar capping' which reduces draughts and removes the need for unsightly clips. The bars are screwed in place and a final cap is applied to hide the screw heads and provide an attractive, easy maintenance finish.

Also in the picture you will see the drainage holes which are necessary to remove condensation from the internal eaves. This is a problem which most greenhouses don't cater for ... condensation runs down the inside face of the glass and gathers in the eaves. Robinsons cure this with strategically placed drain holes as pictured. 

6 blade louvre with Autolouvre

A 6 blade louvre window glazed with toughened glass is a popular choice with Robinsons' customers. We recommend fitting it at a low level to draw air up through the greenhouse roof vents thus preventing stale air causing mildew.
Also in the picture is an automatic louvre opener, this is a useful additional accessory saving you adjusting the louvre yourself.

Double door low threshold entrance

The low threshold entrance is an important feature of Robinsons Greenhouses. With no significant sill to step over these greenhouses allow easy wheelchair and wheelbarrow access !

Timber slatted staging 25" wide and timber slatted top shelf

Robinsons Greenhouses have a choice of timber or aluminium slatted staging. If aluminium staging is chosen the cantilever brackets and slats can be finished in white or green if coloured options are chosen. Pictured here fitted to a lean-to greenhouse you will see 7 slat wide (25") timber staging and 3 slat wide high level shelving. This is hard wearing, functional staging which needs very little maintenance and will fit in all Robinsons models except the Renaissance.

Aluminium slatted staging 25" wide and slatted top shelf

Robinsons Greenhouses have a choice of timber or aluminium slatted staging. The aluminium staging can be finished in plain mill finish or white or green as pictured here. This is the green finish 7 slat wide (25") aluminium staging and 3 slat wide high level shelving. This is easy to clean, sturdy staging which will fit in all Robinsons models except the Renaissance.

Aluminium slatted staging 37" wide and slatted top shelf

This 10 slat wide aluminium staging is available in plain mill finish as pictured or in white or green. It measures 37" (940mm) in depth. The height is adjustable when first installed to a comfortable working level. Also pictured is the 3 slat wide high level shelving.

The depth of the staging makes this unsuitable for some smaller models in the Robinsons range as it can project into the doorway. Please seek advice from our sales staff about its suitability for your greenhouse project.

Robinsons roof vent

The number of roof vents fitted as standard in a Robinsons greenhouse varies according to its size and is shown in the current pricelist. You can choose to add extra roof vents should you feel it necessary but please remember they can't fit in adjacent panels in the roof. This picture is of the roof vent on an 8ft wide Robinsons 'Royale' greenhouse.

Every Robinsons roof vent is supplied with an automatic opener : Imagine getting up on a hot summer morning to find everything in your greenhouse has keeled over from the heat ... this is what an automatic opener will help prevent.

As the temperature rises the roof vent will open to ventilate the greenhouse and protect your valuable plants.

Robinsons Fix Down Brackets

These brackets are supplied as a standard component to enable you to fix your greenhouse to the base. They are generally rawlplugged and screwed in place once the assembly of the greenhouse is completed either by you or your nominated greenhouse fitter.

Robinsons Ridge Cresting

Ridge cresting and finials are a popular option with Robinsons Greenhouses.

Supplied in either white or green, they supply the finishing touch to a high quality product.

Robinsons double door, handles and lock

Robinsons Diagonal Bracing

All Robinsons rectangular greenhouses are supplied with diagonal bracing for two reasons. Firstly they add considerable strength to the greenhouse and secondly because they ensure the greenhouse remains square and doesn't move out of shape in windy conditions.
