'Pevensey' Package

The Pevensey package deal greenhouse gives you even more space than the popular 'Goodrich' package. The 12ft6in width makes it easy to turn a barrow or use growbags 'end on' to maximise the growing space. There's a choice of lengths up to 20ft 7in.

A partitioned area is provided so you can heat one section and use the other compartment within the greenhouse for hardening off tender plants. The partition is set 6ft from the rear on the building in this picture, but it can be placed at any 2ft interval at the time of installation.

Package items are shown in the other pictures on this page and described on the previous page. The building in the picture is 16ft7in x 12ft6in and shown with green coloured frames. The timber staging has been added by the customer, the ridge crest is available at an additional cost.

Mill aluminium finish is standard but there are also other coloured frame options ( brown, white, terracotta, black ) available.

All package deal greenhouses are glazed with full sheet toughened safety glass

Partition with double doors

A partitioned area with double door access is provided with this package deal greenhouse.

It's a very valuable addition to the greenhouse as it provides a separate environment within the greenhouse which is handy for starting young plants in a heated section of the greenhouse and them transferring them to the cooler section. The partition also helps with the structural strength of the longer greenhouses.

5 inch Aluminium base plinth

This base plinth is provided to add strength at ground level and to make installation of the greenhouse easier.

If you choose a coloured package option then we provide the base in the appropriate colour to match the framework

Rainwater pipes and outlets

All that precious rainwater going to waste ? Our  package deal allows you to collect the rainwater for re-cycling.

Two stop ends for the gutters, two 90 degree outlets, downpipes and retaining clips are provided in the rainwater kit.

You will need to provide adequate storage vessels ...plastic barrels or galvanised tanks for instance.

7 slat 26in wide staging

An essential part of any greenhouse is the staging which provides working surfaces as well as storage.

This 7 slat wide aluminium staging won't rot, twist or rust !

Supported by cantilever braces there are no legs to get in the way or make it difficult to sweep the greenhouse out. The staging height can generally be adjusted when fitting to suit you.

Additional roof vent

An additional roof vent is included as part of this package deal. Adequate ventilation can be a problem with most greenhouses and we have addressed this by ensuring there are sufficient vents in the roof of your greenhouse package deal.

Bayliss XL Autovent

Automatic vent openers come in many shapes and sizes but this is a good, sturdy and well proven opener.

Imagine getting up on a hot summer morning to find everything in your greenhouse has keeled over from the heat ... this is what an automatic opener will help prevent.

As the temperature rises the roof vent will open to ventilate the greenhouse and protect your valuable plants.

Louvre with automatic opener

The package contains two 5 blade louvre windows which are glazed with toughened glass. We recommend fitting them at a low level to draw air up through the greenhouse roof vents thus preventing stale air causing mildew.

Also in the picture is an automatic louvre opener which is included in the package and makes a very useful additional accessory. Autolouvres may vary in design from the one pictured. Only one autolouvre is provided, giving you manual control of ventilation through the second louvre.

Construction Pack ... ( extra cost item )

Our Construction Pack consists of glass sucker pad, gloves, 10mm nut spinner, pozidriver and pliers : all you need to construct your greenhouse should you choose the DIY route ( with the exception of stepladders, drill bits and hacksaw )

This is priced at £ 32 if ordered with your package deal and represents excellent value.

Interconnecting Rainwater Kit and barrel ( extra cost item )

This picture shows our interconnecting rainwater kit on one of our smaller greenhouses. The normal rainwater kit provides you with two downpipes but for a small extra charge we provide additional piping and joints so that the water can be directed across the back of the greenhouse to join up at one point.

Also pictured is our 110litre water barrel and barrel stand. This is a slimline barrel and is useful where space is limited. It is included in our Solent and Solway packages but is an additional cost option with other greenhouses.

Delivery service

Delivery to mainland England and Wales is included in all of our package prices. It's also included in selected areas of Scotland but you need to check with our staff as we occasionally have to make extra arrangements for areas above the central belt which may cost a little extra.

On delivery the greenhouse and staging are contained in the larger cardboard boxes, the accessory items are grouped together and the glass needs a clear length of wall to lean against, preferably in a garage or outbuilding. In this instance it is safely stacked against a sheltered garden wall. Nothing in the boxes will take any harm if it gets wet during storage, with the possible exception of the instructions; after all, the greenhouse is intended to stand outside in all weather !

You will be advised of the delivery date so you can ensure that the delivery driver can gain access to unload the boxes and glass.

D.I.Y ?

Should you choose to install your greenhouse yourself this is what you will find when you unpack the boxes ! The components here are from our smallest greenhouse ( 4ft x 4ft ) but the principle is the same with all sizes. Aluminium components are carefully wrapped and labelled to tell you which section they belong to. All you need to do is follow the instructions on preparing them and assembling them which are also provided. ( Orange booklet in this picture ). All clips, nuts and bolts and rubber glazing beads are provided in the pack too. Glass is delivered at the same time as the greenhouse and stacked where you request.
