Malvern Sutton Greenhouse 4ft 6in x 6ft

Malvern Greenhouses are sturdily constructed out of pressure treated pine or from Canadian Cedarwood. Either option promises long life and a minimum amount of maintenance. Timber greenhouses are reckoned to be warmer than those constructed in aluminium and the 'Dutch Light' slant sided design is perceived to give the maximum amount of daylight to your plants.

This is the narrowest of the Malvern Greenhouses at 6ft wide and is available in a variety of lengths. Pictured here is the 4ft 6in long by 6ft wide Malvern Greenhouse constructed in pressure treated pine. Working surfaces are pictured utilising our new space-saving cantilevered heavy duty staging and shelving.

Malvern Sutton Greenhouse 8ft 10in x 6ft

Cedar is well known for its good looks and longevity so it is the natural choice for a timber greenhouse. The 8ft 10in by 6ft model as pictured has been the mainstay of our timber greenhouse range for over twenty years.

This picture shows one of our popular packages which include staging, shelving, additional ventilation, automatic ventilation and rainwater goods.

Malvern Sutton Greenhouse 8ft 10in x 6ft

This picture of an 8ft 10in by 6ft cedar Malvern Greenhouse illustrates the option of base panels which reach up to staging height. This is a useful option when you want a little extra warmth all year round or you simply want to be able to hide some of the junk that tends to accumulate !

Other options in the picture are the side vent, staging and shelving.

Malvern Sutton Greenhouse 11ft x 8ft

This is the 8ft wide version of the Malvern Greenhouse. Also available in Cedar, it is pictured here in pressure treated pine. Lengths are available from 6ft 9in up to 15ft and further extensions can be added if required.

The greenhouse pictured has our old style of staging and shelving which has been withdrawn in favour of our new heavy duty cantilevered staging. The new staging and shelving keeps the floor area clear and provides you with a sturdy working surface.

Sutton Greenhouse 11ft x 8ft

This is a display building at our Ferndown branch. I've included this picture, taken on a miserable winter's day, to illustrate the partition option : you'll see that the rear two panel sections of this greenhouse are seperated from the front three. This creates a seperate environment within the greenhouse which can be heated to give seedlings and tender plants a great start to life. They can then be hardened off in the larger section of the greenhouse.

Malvern Sutton Greenhouse 15ft x 10ft

This 15ft by 10ft wide Malvern Greenhouse is the largest model in the standard range and is pictured here constructed in Canadian Cedarwood. It is a roomy and functional greenhouse which will give many years of pleasurable use. There are a variety of lengths to choose from and extensions and partitions can be added if required.

Cedar Construction

Cedar is known for its long life and good looks. It has its own natural oils in the timber which makes it very resistant to rot.

Despite this we still pre-treat your Greenhouse with a wash of quality wood preserver before it leaves the factory thus ensuring it gets off to a great start in life !

The ridge bar and base plinth in Malvern cedar greenhouses are constructed with pressure treated pine which has better structural characteristics for those components.

Pressure treated pine construction

Pressure treatment is literally that : all components of the Greenhouse are placed in a large pressurised cylinder which forces the preservative deep into the timber. The formulation of the preservative gives the pressure treated Greenhouses their green / yellow hue which complements so many gardens.

Good looks, an extended lifetime and lower cost than cedar are the main benefits of choosing pressure treated construction.

Additional roof vents

Illustrated here is the Malvern Greenhouse roof vent. The number provided as standard is shown in our catalogue and additional roof vents can be added at the time of ordering.

Automatic vent openers are a popular choice which can be fitted easily to these roof vents.

6 blade Louvre window

This is a popular option with Malvern cedar and pressure treated greenhouses since it allows air to flow into the greenhouse at a low level and displace the stale air that can otherwise cause mildew.

Its position must be specified at the time of ordering since the glass has to be adapted to accomodate it.

Staging and Shelving

The Malvern Greenhouse has been a favourite for over twenty years but in 2007 we realised the staging and shelving was overdue for an overhall !  The new staging and shelving we developed with Malvern is substantially stronger and better as a consequence. In re-designing the staging we did away with the old staging legs which made it difficult to sweep out the greenhouses or store items beneath the staging. The new cantilevered staging and shelving has been a big success and has helped us substantially increase our sales of Malvern Greenhouses.

Guttering and downpipes

These are options with the Malvern Greenhouse Range but are a common choice as many customers want to save the rainwater for use in their greenhouses.

They are a narrower gauge than normal domestic rainwater goods.

Hampton Greenhouse 9ft x 6ft

This is the 8ft 10in long version of the new straight sided Hampton Greenhouse, constructed here in cedarwood.

Showing a range of features including 6 blade louvre, gutters and downpipes, automatic vent opener, staging and shelving this is a great place to get growing !

Toughened safety glass is fitted for safety and security.
