11 more images availableThe Cottage Octagonal Greenhouse from The Malvern Collection is a fabulous greenhouse, based upon the Malvern Suntop Greenhouse, available in 12 different countryside colours. It is a top quality Cedar greenhouse that is full of features to make your gardening easier: automatic roof vents on the larger sizes, heavy duty staging and shelving and toughened safety glass to safeguard everyone.
All Cottage Octagonal greenhouses include delivery and installation by the manufacturers own team of skilled fitters and are built with high quality Cedar wood throughout (except for base plinth which is pressure treated to prevent rot). You have the choice of full length toughened glass or half boarded cedar panels and you can also choose between chrome and brass fittings to suit your taste.

Cottage Octagonal Greenhouse 6ft x 6ft
This is a fabulous new product for 2010. Based on our popular Suntop Greenhouses, the Cottage Octagonal is available in a choice of 3 sizes and 12 different countryside paint finishes.
This 6ft x 6ft Cottage Octagonal greenhouse is finished in 'Cloverleaf'. Base panels are generally provided unless the full length glass version as in this picture is specified.
The 6ft x 6ft model has two top hung vents in the sides and also features staging and shelving all round.

The mid size version of the Cottage Octagonal is shown here in its standard format ... beautifully painted cedar base panels, framework, doors and windows are in 'Rush Green' in this instance.
This size includes two roof vents with automatic openers in addition to the sturdy staging, shelving and two side windows.

Cottage Octagonal Greenhouse 8ft 5in x 8ft 5in
This is the largest of the 3 sizes of Cottage Octagonals, on show in this instance at our Norwich display centre. Installed on a very icy January day, the greenhouse was surprisingly warm with only a little sunshine on it.
This size includes two roof vents with automatic openers in addition to the staging, shelving and two side windows. Pictured here in Rush Green.

Cottage Octagonal .. cedar boarded panels
Cottage Octagonals are constructed with durable, long life cedar cladding ( Cedar has its own protective oils which is why it has been used for many years in the best quality greenhouses ). The timber is sprayed with a top quality paint which is specially formulated for our Cottage Range buildings.
We have a choice of 12 different colours with colour charts available in our information offices at our numerous display centres throughout England and Scotland.
Cottage Octagonal Staging
Heavy duty staging finished in the same colour as the rest of the greenhouse is a superb feature of the Cottage Octagonals. The staging is attached with cantilever brackets which mean that there are no unsightly staging legs to get in the way beneath the staging. It also makes it easier to store your bits and bobs below the staging and to sweep out when required !
Cottage Octagonal Top Shelf
The top shelf, like the staging, is an essential and integral part of the Cottage Octagonal range. Because it is designed specifically for this building it utilises space to the maximum. The cantilever brackets provide plenty of support and can be set at a level to suit you at the time of installation.
Cottage Octagonal Side Vents
Two top hung side vents with casement stays are fitted on all three models in the Cottage Octagonal range. Brass or chrome casement stays are provided ... please see further details in this photo gallery.
Cottage Octagonal Roof Vents
Two roof lights with automatic openers are fitted to the 8ft6in x 6ft and the 8ft6in x 8ft6in Cottage Octagonal models. Because of the shape of the roof the 6ft x 6ft model can not accommodate roof vents.
Cottage Octagonal Pressure Treated Base Rail
Pressure treated timber is widely used in fenceposts, decking and outdoor applications of all kinds. It benefits from a high pressure injection of a specially formulated preservative to ensure long life and resistance to rot and insect attack. The Cottage Octagonal is designed to sit onto a firm, level base, preferably of concrete slabs and the base rail will sit neatly onto these. It's a good idea to use slabs laid on a decent hardcore bed rather than concrete as the slab base will drain much better when you are watering.
