The new Alpinehouse, which is being featured on BBC Gardener's World, has been designed with maximum ventilation in mind and is ideal for plants which require extra light and ventilation. The concrete base kerbs are a key part of the Alton design making installation straightforward and providing stability and protection during stormy weather.
Our Alton Alpinehouse package deal includes: concrete base kerbs, nine manual high level vents, nine low level manual louvre vents, two automatic roof vents, staging on two sides and rear infill, high level shelving on two sides.
Alton greenhouses are constructed from Western Red Cedar, known for its durability and resistance to decay. The beautiful, natural reddish brown colour of the cedar looks superb in any garden setting and is also more thermally efficient than comparable aluminium greenhouses. It is factory treated prior to delivery but will still benefit from an occasional re-treatment to keep it looking good.
